The Southerner is a student-run publication committed to covering the events of Great Neck South High School and the surrounding community. The Southerner publishes a print issue each month and updates its website each week. The publication was named Columbia Scholastic Press Association Silver Medalist in 2011 and Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Medalist in 2012 and 2014.
I was a member of The Southerner as a Sports Section Layout Editor and Writer in 2019, and as their Head Sports Writer in 2020. Due to a website change, most of my articles can only be found in print editions of The Southerner.
